Day 13: Kapotasana

Better known as Pigeon Pose, this probably goes down as one of my all time favorite poses. There are a ton of variations of it, but all of them have the benefit of opening up your hips and you deciding how deep you want to get into the pose. For me personally, I prefer the variation of this where I can just melt into the floor. You can control how deep you get into this pose by your hands & arms. You can be on your forearms or be on your hands, as long as the weight is distributed evenly across your hands and your hips are aligned. For beginners, I would say about a minute a side is pretty reasonable. I hope you enjoy!
