Welcome to my blog! I am so excited that you’ve clicked on the link and that I can share my story with you. For those of you that don’t know me, my name is Jenny. I have been practiced yoga for about nine years now. My practice has varied at times in different times in my life; sometimes I’ve been able to practice every day. Other times, it’s been a couple of months since I’ve place my foot on the mat.
To me, that’s kind of the beauty of yoga. We all have different experiences and relationships with it. It’s up to you as an individual if you want to put it in the time. If you do, you can great benefits from it. Others, it might be a way to just work out, or just to close our eyes and meditate. Guess what? ALL of those are okay! It can be intimidating to see the Instagram posts or marketing schemes that show “fit” people in a perfect handstand. It can be so hard to go into a studio when you clearly stand out and don’t fit the branding of a typical “yogi.”
My yoga has never been about perfection: it’s been anything but. For me, it’s been about taking time to take care of myself. I’ve been able to learn a lot about myself. I’ve had tough days where I just melted into my mat. Some days it’s just fifteen minutes because that’s all I can spare. Other times, I’m able to squeak in that hour. Whatever your level or relationship is with yoga, I’m just happy you’re here and that you’re taking this leap of faith with me.
I am going to be far from perfect, but I am going to give my 100% every time. So what should you expect to see in my blog? Honestly, a variety. I want my content to be catered to what you’re looking for. Maybe it’s a ten minute meditation or some Mommy & Me yoga. I want you to feel comfortable and know that you have everything you’re looking for here. I will also talk about my journey of becoming a yoga teacher and beyond that!
